Based on the extraordinary true story of Nick Yarristhe American writer who spent 22 years on death row in Pennsylvania after being wrongfully convicted of rape and murder. Nick is played by the one and only Adrien Brody who is making his Broadway debut.

This play first premiered in London (for which the real Nick Yarris was present) so we can already tell you that Brody’s performance as a man desperately failed by our system is utterly heart-wrenching and spell-binding. Set inside the prison, it is through Yarris talking to a prison volunteer (who he ultimately marries!) that we learn about his life.

Some audience members at the London production were perched on plastic chairs perilously close to the ‘prison’ floor.

Melodrama Must-See
GIANT
New York

“I was lucky enough to see this at The Royal Court and it was unforgettable. John Lithgow transforms into a complex, curmudgeonly Roald Dahl and leaves you with your jaw on the floor by the play's end. Sophisticated in its writing, Giant is deceptively witty, haunting and timely.”
